Whether you manufacture plastic or composite boats, it’s straightforward to integrate our Skeg Systems with your existing manufacturing process and get all the great benefits this brings.

There are two options. For small quantities, retrofitting our systems to your kayaks after build requires minimum setup costs. For larger volumes, switching fully to the Kari-Tek system requires a simple one-off mould change.

Whichever you choose, we supply a complete package of support to get you up and running.

Option 1: small volumes

This is the simplest entry route to fit Kari-Tek Skeg Systems® into your kayaks:

Retrofit to individual boats
Minimal setup costs
Volume can be adjusted to meet demand
Uses existing manufacturing skill sets
All jigs and fixtures are available from Kari-Tek
On-site training is available from Kari-Tek

Option 2: full volumes

If you are ready to integrate the system into your manufacturing process:

Switch entirely to Kari-Tek Skeg Systems®
Skeg and glide boxes are built-in when laminating (or moulding) the kayak
Requires a simple one-off mould change
Mould conversion kit and training available from Kari-Tek
After conversion, continues to use existing manufacturing skills
Easier to install than current systems
